Sunrise Cake Dutch Oven Recipe
Required:
12 inch dutch oven
Preparation:
can mix all dry ingredients except nuts in a baggie at home
Ingredients:
2 1/4 C flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp cinnamon
1 C sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
3/4 C vegetable oil
1 egg, beaten
1 C buttermilk
1 C rough chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts, almonds, your choice)

Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix all ingredients except the nuts.
- Pour batter into dutch oven, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle nuts over top of batter.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Serves 6-8
All recipes use a 12-inch dutch oven, unless specified.
If you have a 10-inch dutch oven, use about 2/3 to 3/4 of the ingredient amounts but keep the temperature and time about the same.
If you have an 8-inch dutch oven, use about 1/2 of the ingredient amounts but keep the temperature and time about the same.
If no temperature is listed, use 350 degrees.
