Meat Loaf Dutch Oven Recipe
Ingredients:
2 lb. hamburger
1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
1-1/2 Cup quick oats
2 pkg. onion soup mix
1 Cup dry bread crumbs
2 eggs
1-1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. marjoram

Instructions:
Mix all ingredients, in a bowl or right in cool dutch oven.
Press into the dutch oven.
Bake covered at 300 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Serves 6 to 8.

All recipes use a 12-inch dutch oven, unless specified.
If you have a 10-inch dutch oven, use about 2/3 to 3/4 of the ingredient amounts but keep the temperature and time about the same.
If you have an 8-inch dutch oven, use about 1/2 of the ingredient amounts but keep the temperature and time about the same.
If no temperature is listed, use 350 degrees.

Made this the last day of a 4 day Death Valley jeep trip,
served with mashed potatoes. There were no left overs!
